Dhoom 3 Saturday (2nd Day) Collection Early Trends

Dhoom 3 is heading for big numbers on Saturday, as the film is sustaining well all over India. There is hardly any drop in collection despite film registering extraordinary collection for Day one. In fact at places collections are even better than yesterday in multiplexes. However occupancy of Single Screen will certain to drop as it was historic in First Day with over 90% occupancy.

As per latest update film is just outstanding in almost all parts of India in multiplexes. Dhoom 3 is registering occupancy of around 85% on average for the day till now. Delhi is registering occupancy of 95-100% in Evening shows. Whereas Gurgaon and Hyderabad is registering occupancy of over 97-98% for the day. Kanpur and Pune are excellent with occupancy hovering in the range of 85%. Mumbai is also excellent with occupancy over 80% there for the Evening shows. Overall news coming from every corner is excellent. We still await major single screen data from across India and if that is good, then huge collections are expected for Saturday also.

Occupancy Report for Saturday (Selected Screens in Selected Cinemas) -

Delhi - 65-70% (Morning shows). 95-100% (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Gurgaon - 90% (Morning shows). 98-100% (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Kanpur - 60% (Morning shows). 85% (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Mumbai - 75-80% (Morning shows). 80%+ (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Pune - 90% (Morning shows). 85-90% (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Hyderabad - 98-100% (Morning shows). 98-100% (Afternoon/Evening shows).

Thus, from early trend looks like Dhoom 3 should easily cross 30 crore nett mark for Saturday and collections may come on same level as on Friday.

Congratulations to Aamir Khan & team! 👏

Stupendous numbers especially for non holiday release.

Its star aside, the craze for Dhoom series and its popularity as a franchise must also be acknowledged for attracting audience in droves.

I'd give a little bit of credit to Katrina Kaif promos too...after all her songs saved films like TMK. And there are people who'd gladly lap up Kamli. 😉

Difference in numbers is there across different sources. But shouldn't BOI be taken for this one too as the 202.2 cr nett for 3I was given by them only and accepted everywhere?

The collections in USA are phenomenal. But no surprise, since Aamir's films always do fabulous there after Lagaan and he is on other level since Ghajini and 3 Idiots there. D3 got so much attention even during its shooting, records were a given.

With 3I, D3 and PK, Aamir will eventually have three 200 crore grossers to his credit!

Dhooom 3 Day One Worldwide:: Records in Both

As all territories figures have fallen in Dhoom 3 (Hindi) did a magical business of 30.5cr approx on Day One smashingall previous non-holiday records with a margin of 60%.. Movie was Excellent every where but short fell of just 75lacs of Ek Tha Tiger.. Below are the name of territories with stating which movie was ahead in that territory with difference in brackets//

Mumbai.. Ek Tha Tiger (1.75cr)

Dehli/UP.. Ek Tha Tiger (50lacs)

East Punjab.. Dhoom 3 (7 lacs)

West Bengal.. Dhoom 3 (7 lacs)

Mysore.. Dhoom 3 (45 lacs)

CI.. Ek Tha Tiger (20 lacs)

CP.. Dhoom 3 (4lacs)

Rajhastan.. Dhoom 3 (13lacs)

Bihar.. Dhoom 3 (15lacs)

Nizam.. Dhoom 3 (25 lacs)

Tamil and Telugu:-

In Tamil and Telugu version movie added 2.75cr approx with Telugu adding 2.1cr while Tamil version added 65lacs approx.. movie has been exceptionally well in Telugu.. Weekend will be surely above 7cr and Week should go upto 11-12cr..

Overseas:-

Movie did the unbelievable by breaking opening day record of Chennai Express in Overseas by collecting approx 19.5cr on day one and broke opening day record of Chennai Express with huge lead which had collected 14.25cr on its opening day.. Below are the territory wise figures of Dhoom 3 with Chennai Express in brackets..

USA.. 6.25cr (4.85cr)

UK.. 2.5cr (2.65cr)

UAE.. 4.25cr (3.55cr)

Australia.. 90lacs (75lcs)

NZL.. 35lacs (22lacs)
