Aamir: Ticket prices of D3 at par with CE

There were reports in the media saying that the ticket prices of DHOOM 3 have been hiked. Just one day prior to the release of the film, actor Aamir Khan in a press conference tried to clear the air.

The actor said, ''There is no truth in the reports of hiked ticket prices of DHOOM 3. The ticket prices of DHOOM 3 are at par with CHENNAI EXPRESS. The only difference is that DHOOM 3 is the first Indian film to be released in IMAX. There are four or five IMAX theatres in India. Apart from those four or five screens, the ticket prices in the other theatres are the same as other films. I don't know why such reports are coming out.

Aamir Khan doesn't rule out the possibility of someone trying to mislead the people in terms of the ticket prices. ''It might be possible that someone is trying to mislead the people because Yash Raj has cleared this couple of times that the ticket prices have not been hiked. People have bought the tickets in advance. So they know at what prices they have bought the tickets. I hope the miscommunication ends,'' said the actor.
