Why not? I never found anything so great in srk- kajol chemistry they were just average😆 the only difference is they did several movies together so their comfort level was slight better than other pairs..For me ark- sradha chemistry was far better than srk- kajol😆

Over hyped.
I always found Aamir juhi better. Their chemistry was great. Personal differences and their decision not to work together ruined it.

I personally like SRK-Rani and SRK-Preity more than SRK-Kajol

But I don't think that SRK-Kajol jodi is overhyped or over rated ..
MOST of Bollywood fans like them together more than any jodi, SRK -kajol made a huge impact on people by their acting and their choices of movies together, so they become bollywood favorites jodi for MOST of people ..

SRK manages to look good with most of his leading ladies, with the exception of Kareena, Katrina and Sonali.

His jodi with Kajol is the most famous because DDLJ was an iconic romance movie which starred them together. I liked them in KKHH too but they had zero chemistry in My Name Is Khan (which was an awful movie to begin with).

So it all depends on the script. I liked SRK with Rani, Kajol, Aishwarya, Preity and Juhi. Didn't find any special chemistry with Madhuri.

And overall, Hrithik-Ash, Abhishek-Rani are also jodis who have good chemistry.

I find SRK way better with Juhi. SRK and Kajol look like best friends...not like a passionate romantic jodi.

Why won't there be any other iconic pair? There were several iconic pairs in Bollywood before SRK-Kajol, there will be more in future. And if they get support of big banners like YRF then they'll have 100% success record at box office too.

I like Salman and Aishwariya better I don't care if they did only one film together but they had more chemistry than SRK and Kajol ever had.

I think everyone's definition of what good on-screen jodi should be like is different.

I think that as actors, Srk-Kajol have great chemistry. They pick up on each other's cues and know exactly what to do and say. They don't just say dialogues, they really act. Of course the script has a lot to do with it, but the unison these two have while acting, I don't think Srk has with any other costar.

MNIK didn't work because the script did not give them much room for this type of interactive acting and chemistry. IMHO.
