Funny does Aishwarya have a problem with it? I hear her mother-in-law and her husband, but nothing from her. As usual.

So calling Aishwarya Ash is a crime but calling Priyanka Chopra Piggy Chops is totally a-okay? What bullshit.

Aish has never complained about it herself, so what's the problem? My goodness the Bachchan clan are annoyingly full of themselves. It's amazing, I disliked Aish a lot but since having a kid she's grown on me because she's managed to keep calm in a family of nutters.

They're so full of themelves! Didn't he call her Ash before marriage? What about pranks he's played and nicknames he's given to female co stars? Where was his sense of propriety then? Did he feel it was okay to do anything since they weren't women from his own family?

What next? Thwarting anyone who calls Amitabh as Amit, Big B or Lambu (many still call him that, it's his original desi sobriquet)?

The Kapoors have been around for longer and are original first family of Bollywood yet they don't object to their girls being called Bebo and Lolo by all and sundry. Their men also accept being called Chintu, Dabboo etc. - their nicknames, without making a fuss! Saif or Sharmila haven't told anyone how to address Saif's wife (even Amrita Singh used to be referred to as Dingy, even after marriage to the royal family's chote nawab). Never seen Ajay insisting Kajol be called as Kajol Devgan or objecting to her being called Kads, Kadsoo etc. by media. That Boney Kapoor's a possessive husband too but neither he nor anyone else from his family barked when Sridevi was just called Sri.

I never concurred when others said it, but now even I feel Bachchans have nothing else but past glories of Amitabh, Aishwarya and to some extent Harivanshrai Bachchan to boast of. Their movies aren't working. Even KBC is not as phenomenal as it was earlier (who thought Comedy Nights, Comedy Nights or Zee Rishtey Awards would have better ratings than KBC?). So they (especially the losers Abhishek and irrelevant guddi buddi Jaya) have begun to make issues over small things to get attention. Amitabh should control them, or else they'll fritter away whatever goodwill he and his DIL had.

The kind of spent force they are, they should be happy even if their name is taken, and not get pissed over how it's taken.

I agree with Jaya and Abhishek. Aishwarya is part of Bachan family and she should be addressed with respect.
