IMDb ratings are for content and not for the stars.

And if Chennai Express is crap then films like Raja Hindustani (the only saving grace in Aamir's career as a star till Ghajini happened to him) are no good either.

If SRK overacts then what were Aamir's overdose of crying in TZP, shouting and snarling in Ghajini and staring with knitted brows in most films after Mangal Pandey?

All Khans are on comparable level. What was Aamir Khan doing earlier? Sticking only to college lover boy roles when SRK did Darr, Anjaam and Baazigar?

If there is a time when SRK and Salman are doing more conventional roles then there was also a time when Aamir was slotted too.

SRK and Salman's stardom is such that it overshadows everything else. And there's always a tendency to try to dismiss big stars as lesser actors.

If box office doesn't matter then why did Aamir do Ghajini and why's he signed Dhoom 3? For some really solid acting?

Comparisons are done on all counts. One can't negate box office and talk only of acting to score a one up and vice versa.

Getting success playing oneself is also not easy. Not everyone can do that. Aamir can't do that because he has no charisma or distinctive personality to score super succes by just playing himself.

The Khans have their strengths and weaknesses each. Neither of them are like Amitabh Bachchan who was top notch actor, biggest draw at box office and most popular among all sections of population.

Aamir does good films since Lagaan particularly. Acting wise all Khans have their share of good performances. Box office and popularity added in fray, SRK and Salman are ahead of Aamir. Overall they're a comparable trinity with no clear winner or one man industry type phenomenon.

There's no way in hell Aamir Khan is a better actor than Shahrukh Khan. Salman Khan maybe, but not Shahrukh, The man was born to act and even though he may overact at times, he's still miles ahead of both Salman and Aamir when it comes to mastering the craft. Aamir fans can argue all they want but the truth is the truth... and at the end of the day Shahrukh Khan is a much better actor.

SRK fans talking about Aamir acting in Dhoom3, as if SRK performance in CE was Oscar worthy.🤪. If Aamir is bad in dhoom3, srk was no better in CE with his OTT Hamfest.

No not offended but I find it amusing...SRK is an absolute hamming king ..But I like Sallu cause atleast he is not irritating...SRK was no good in JTHJ and CE..Aamir was atleast decent in Talaash compared to SRK in JTHJ...In D3 cause of botox and age Aamir fails to impress in trailer and ads..But I will watch the movie first and then judge...However overall Aamir is much MUCH better than the other two acting wise and has done extremely good movies. So yeah there is no comparison and no doubt..

Aamir is my fav. actor, but lately I have not liked his choice of films..talaash and now D3..but his previous films more than make up for it!!

SRK's forte is the obsessive streak and passion which he uses in both negative and lover boy roles. Aamir's forte is of playing a thinking/brooding iconoclast and he uses this rebel type image in all films be it artsy or entertainers. Salman had image of good looker, good hearted and good mannered guy in films earlier, later good mannered got replaced by mischievous streak. On a baser level each has a specific image that they still allude to.

Blasphemy and offense have different definitions. Some may feel comparing an actor like Aamir to other Khans or even a Bachchan is blasphemy because apparently he's the best actor ever born. Others may feel it's blasphemy to compare SRK to other stars because he's best star, global icon yada yada ever. Yet others might feel there's no comparison to Salman who's worshipped by masses, whose even adjusting his belt becomes an iconic action.

It's all subjective preferences!

Comparisons are timepass. And it probably serves Khans well because they remain in attention of public whether they do films or not, they remain main topic of discussion and newbies are sidelined and fans take discussions about them to such an extreme that those not in know would feel as if Khans are the only stars in BW, there wasn't anything before them.

Fans should worry when their star is not mentioned or compared. Nothing to get offended if stars' names are mentioned frequently. 😆
