a divorce is sad enough as it is...on top of that, it isnt right to try and condition people's minds with such manipulative statements.

Even if she was the one who wanted to separate, im sure she had strong reasons to do so because one dosent just stick with a relationship for 17 years, have 2 kids and then one day randomly decide to get out of the marriage...

there is no point in issuing statements like this because it does nothing but assasinate her character in public...

divorced women in india as it is get very little respect (which is sad) especially women who initiate the divorce because women are always expected to "make a marriage work by compromising"...and if he tries and puts it in people's minds what a loving and caring husband he is, it only rings like shes the bitch who left him for selfish reasons which is far from the truth because if she stuck with him for 17 years, then im sure she gave it her best to the marriage and the relationship before reaching a dead end and taking a decision.

I'd hate to think that the public will hate Suzanne and worse, the kids would grow up hating the mother if they r being conditioned with such statements.

I always thought their love story was so cute. I remember watching this and thinking they were so madly in love.

I don't think anyone is buying it..Hrithik is talking here as if he is in a fairy tale & not the real world..He is dealing with divorce & talking of unconditional love..He comes off as fake & then one is forced to think what is he actually in real..

Nobody is saying he's not telling the truth, but its not something the whole world needs to know.
There's a dignified way to handle this, and he's not doing that. He does not need to manipulate people into sympathizing with him and hating Suzanne...He's pretty much saying I love her to bits and pieces, but she does not and has given up on our marriage, doesn't want to make it work...he's making her out to be an evil witch hurting the innocent madly in love HR...what's the point? It only makes people gossip more and more.
