Salman is a big enough star...that even if the movie sucks... I doubt it will do less than 100 cr business. And you can't compare these young lads to Salman Khan (Or other Khans for that matter). They may be talented but not big enough yet.

I may be wrong...if the movie ain't good..it might not good in BO. But I think that was then, this is now...time has changed...and I have seen the growth in Salman Khan's stardom...that's why I think the way I do.

Also I don't know how SRK"s last 5 films are any better than Salman's. 😆 Both are equally bad. But Shahid beats them both. Atleast Ra.One, JTHJ, Ready, Bodygaurd despite being crap were still hits but what about the B - grade Shahid. Whose fans are limited to Twitter only. And even more hilarious. New comers like ARK, Varun, Sidharth, Arjun, Ranveer have higher collections for their first films than any of Shahid films. 😆

I think both salman and srk's work is not the same as it used 2 be...and I don't blame them but the current trends in BW. lets face it, nowadays u don't need 2 be a good actor to make a film a hit, u don't need 2 emote emotions to the level u had 2 back in the days to be classed as a good actor/actress and win an award. the importance of acting has declined in movies becos its not needed 4 the film 2 be a success...they focus mainly on the factors that the audience want...and that's entertainment in the form of masala flick comedies and action... they aren't concerned with the acting anymore.

you are entitled to ur opinion and I respect that becos its all down to individual preferences, but I just felt saying he is a star only becos of fans and not talent/movies was a bit harsh becos its far from the truth as he has done great movies and in some people's opinions still is. its just a matter of preferences.

I've never compared the young lads to the khans becos its totally wrong. In fact I think even when comparisons are made between HR and the khans, that's unfair becos he started off a lot later and isn't in their league. Khans being compared to Akky, and Sanjay etc is fine but not to HR and the younger lads, becos Khans have got more yrs of experience and are seniors to these even though they are all working in BW at the moment and can be classed as competitors
