More than herd mentality, i'd say we have a very judgmental attitude..Herd mentality is defo part of human psychology but i do think we are judgmental..Am just so annoyed with the SC verdict today, so don mind me😆

All of us including Star Girl are very annoyed with 377 today. Herd Mentality - not sure...but hypocrites we Indians sure are.

So..Really dont mind what we say today about India and Indians. Its beyond hurt - utter shock and disbelief and a seething pain.

Forgive me, I did mean the forum itself, but my annoyance with the SC verdict may have contributed to the freudian slip, if you will. I have been standing under the Kolkata sun all day, protesting, so throw me a bone here. 😆

However, I do think us Indians have a herd mentality. Is that not reflected in our extreme resistance to change, hero worship and voting results? The macho men stereotypes, celebrity worshipping- almost everywhere. Heck, the Chetan Bhagat phenomenon is another prime instance- hate that guy. 😡 My opinion entirely. You can always disagree with it, but I won't change it. 😊

^^ No. That's the thing. One billion are not opposing it. They will not. A few outraged people over internet don't reflect the one billion either. Although the rule will be passed soon, it still doesn't validate the criminalization of it. And as I said, Institutions are made up of people. When we hate institutions, we automatically oppose the people who are part of it. Institutions are not islands- the same people contribute to them and keep them thriving. So yes.

And this is my opinion entirely. Please disagree with it, but do not ask me to change it, thank you.

And I love India. If I didn't, then I would not have actively worked for five years in places now. And I actively try to make it better. Guess that gives me and everyone who are actively participating in the process, a right to criticize as well.
