Kill Dil has Ali Zafar playing a Kanpuriya

Ali Zafar, who is keen on experimenting with genres, is ready to break the stereotype of a romantic hero and will be seen doing a serious role in the action - thriller Kill Dil. The actor will be essaying the role of a typical Kanpuriya in the film, which also stars Ranveer Singh in the lead. Zafar confirmed this during a recent interaction and mentioned that he will be seen in a rugged and rough avatar. To enhance this character, Zafar is currently working on getting the local Kanpuriya dialect right. "Kill Dil is in a totally different space. It's something I have never done so far. It's not like I only want to do comedy films," said the actor. He stated that he is looking forward to seeing how his character pans out on the big screen. Interestingly, the actor was recently seen promoting his film Total Siyapaa, while sporting a ponytail and French beard, which is part of his look for Kill Dil.
