i hear ya kitkat...

its happened so many times on IF its beyond ridiculous...

i guess a temporary solution would be to keep ur personal profiles on the internet private (i.e the ones with personal photos and stuff such as twitter, fb etc)...

and didnt IF make a stratergy to deal with this crap? i thought people who didnt have more than a certain amount of posts cannot send PMs...and so if someone who does meet the post requirement send nasty PMs, then its easier to track and block them...

Its disgusting how low can a member can stoop to justify his or her favorite actress 👎🏼That hate pm sender sent me pms with Bengali curse words after it found that I am from Bangladesh 😵 The sad thing is IF hasn't done anything to prevent members from being harassed like this

Just saying: NEVER EVER share your personal infos anywhere to anyone on social networks especially on FACEBOOK. All these secret groups even there on Facebook, heck even your private messages can be hacked very easily. So, forget about your profile /page.

Never share secrets on social networks. It's dangerous. Never share your real name, birthday, photo etc. Make your name fake and so on. I mean it doesn't make sense for you to share your private info to people online no matter how close you've become to any member. Share such infos through cell phone /texts or in front if you can.

I am not saying it's dangerous all the time and for everyone might go through cyber bullying etc, but it can happen to anyone. So. just be careful! 😳

P.S Btw, aren't newbies not allowed to send pms to others? Then, how come we still get hate pms or any sort of pms from newbies?

dont think its serious enough to do that. i had thought

maybe they could trace the i p number and lifetime ban

that ip address. maybe they will later on.

Until a few months back I never understood why there was so much of hatred and negativity online, but over time I have come to realize we take advantage of the fact that there are no consequences to our actions and we are quite detached to the ones around us.

I see a lot of celebrities getting bashed on Twitter and it amazes me that people have the time & energy to spend 10-15 mins each day writing such disgusting messages to someone. I've no idea why they do that whether it is jealousy or insecurity, but somehow this world seems to be getting worse day by day. Folks are crossing the line online when in the real world they wouldn't say what they would say online. To each their own though.
