The ash fan is a psycho. Who hacks into someone's personal account just because they dissed your favorite? Though I have a feeling it's an active and regular member since the pms come almost as soon as someone insults the b family, or it's jaya bachchan

At first, I didn't know where your sudden rant against IF trolls came from, but then I also recieved a PM about a certain member with pic, twitter account detail etc, a while ago...I am guessing its the same one that came to you also!

Glad that you did not make a post about it, that would be like playing into the troll's hand right away! This is not the first time I have got one...have recieved about other members too...god knows, why they send it to me!😆 I do read everything that comes in my Inbox, but certainly don't care about it! Anyone, who is stalking people online and spreading personal information about them is not even worth thinking about twice! Best to simply ignore such people!

@Dex and Desu, I know you guys have been bullied by some creeps on IF! And I have said this before and will say it again, hats off to you for not cowering down because of such people! Why just you, other members have also been harassed, so much so that they had to vanish from IF and change their ID!

Its beyond ridiculous, but I don't think Vijay or anyone can do anything about it! And nor do they possibly care!🤔

Also, this PM business is one thing, but I have seen that there is a lot of online bullying also going on, especially on Bolly Forum...Hasini has been a victim of one recently and has left the forum (temporarily, I hope) because of that!

I too have gone through hate PM jazz thanks to a certain Aishwarya fan, which I fail to understand why until now 😆

All I can say is, try to ignore such PMs and don't open them if it's from a newbie. I really don't know what else we can do about this Kitkat :(

wow, you guys serious?? that is beyond crazy, some people should not have access to computers and stuff. how do they even manage to get hold of so much sensitive and private data of members anyway?

Why can't there be a provision to send PM only to members in your buddy list..You wanna send a PM send buddy request, If that person adds you then send a PM..That provision will protect from receiving hate pms,Pics,personal details..etc..from any random MID..I think then chances of getting attacked may reduce.may be the technical team of IF can help with that.

We suggested that alongside many other ideas to Vijay and the team.

The problem is, Vijay doesnt give 2 shits about member security.

wow, that's disgusting. Why don't the mods or whoever do something about this? 😕 They seem more concerned about petty stuff like limiting the amount of posts a member can post per day and whatnot and seem to not give a crap about such sensitive stuff.

So should I just have Aishwarya Rai has my display picture to escape the wrath? That seems like a good way to be protected from invasion of privacy.

IF and co would rather spend time on changing colors of user IDs and rank forums. 😆 Does Vijay realize his site is visited by tweens who may not be as capable to deal with such a situation? Does he realize that there may be online predators that can get a hold of sensitive information?

There are cases of teens committing suicide over cyber bullying. It's a real issue.

Dex and I were strong enough, but what about 13/14 year olds who visit this forum?

If this is the situation, might as well but a disclaimer that only 18+ allowed for the sake of security.

Then what is the solution for this..?? Afterall leaking personal details is not a joke..It can happen with everyone..If the Owner of website himself doesn't take care of members security then there must be some other higher authorities who monitor such websites..Why not report them??
