People finding Ranveer good-looking or ugly doesn't have much to do with talent as much as it has to do with who he is supposedly dating at the moment or delivering hits with.

I've noticed this pattern on this forum time and again with nearly every actor and actress, but since we're focusing on Ranveer here...there are some members who dismiss him because he's with hanging out too much with their favorite's rival these days. That's also why he probably looks like a begger, is not classy, looks ugly, disgusting, rude, blah blah blah or like you said, a talentless hack. But let's say if he was to sign a movie with St. Katrina tomorrow...suddenly he would become the epitome of flawless acting, classy behavior, and good looks...why? No, not because of some magic potion...but because it all matters who he's currently associated with. I've seen this happening around here far too many times to simply brush it off as something else. Not everyone is like this, but then there are definitely some that just make stuff like this too obvious. 😆

It's also possible that he would become an annoying prick for some of the fans of the actress who he's being seen with these days. This is how shit works on I-F and if you want more comedy, then go on Twitter and you'll see it happening there too. That's why for me it's better to take those fans of Ranveer seriously who've had faith in him, his acting, and his career since the beginning...and it obvious to me who they are.

Too bad Ajay Devgn doesn't have these kinds of 'fans' on I-F.

Why is everyone talking about Ajay Devgan?, this thread is not about Ajay Devgan, the picture was just point in case, I am talking about it in general terms.

Recently, Ranveer has received a lot of ridicule for his looks, some people simply dismissed and rejected him purely on the basis of his looks, like if you don't look good, then nothing else matters.

We have psychological biases when we judge someone on the basis of their looks,, we tend to associate certain attributes with good looking people, like talent, intelligence, manners, good job,decency etc, while an ugly person could be judged as creepy, less likely to be talented, low-paid jobs etc.

So in the case of Ranveer, there seems to be a correlation between 2 views, that he's ugly and that he's talentless. Those who think he's ugly and dismiss him purely on those grounds, are also of the belief he's talentless. This is probably because they put a disproportionate amount of importance on looks over everything else.
