She has the worst luck though.
She was offered Heroine, a disaster in the waiting, which she turned down. Suddenly it goes to Ash, goes to Cannes, gets international buzz, gets even more hype after Ash is dropped from the film. Film becomes hot property, Bebo jumps on it. Ash delivers baby, Kareena delivers turkey. Film bombs.
Just the opposite with Ram Leela. Signs it, costumes done, everything set. Then she is dropped from the film. She signs Satyagraha and GTPM to compensate for it. RL becomes huge blockbuster and both of Kareena's films become disasters.
Can anyone have worse luck than her? But I guess Karma is a bitch. Her big ego and holier than thou attitude gotta end. Hope at least now she stops pretending other actresses are surviving because she has rejected the films they did. That bubble gotta burst. And she gonna get the shock of her life when she realises the industry will do just fine without her.
I don't quite agree with this line. Rest I agree with. But there are actors with the same "big ego and holier than thou attitude gotta end" they are doing perfectly fine.
Other actors are fortunate enough to get away with anything to do. With her she can't really do that. Kareena will always be the performance oriented actor. When she is an eye candy on the side no one really pays attention to her. She has the potential to work wonders in an unconventional role but she never goes down that route. She will always stick to the secure route. This is capable of 100+ crores let me run and sign that movie. Forget my role.
