Ranveer is a fresh change from the stuck up actors at this time in BW...BUT, he needs to channel, slightly, his energy to make friends not enemies. 😉

You know what, when I started following him (off-screen) after Lootera, I thought that this guys was another Vivek Oberoi in the making...someone who will make bombastic statements and rub everyone the wrong way!

But I was incorrect...he has way too much brains for that!😆 And if you see his interviews / off-screen apperances, one realizes that most of the times his jokes and comments are reserved for himself and barely does he comment in a depreciating manner on any of his co-star!

The first time I have read him taking a dig at anyone was at Kareena in the recent interview...but apart from that, he has never said anything controversial. Maybe his views on Deepika were OTT (that idiotic Lovaria Interview), but he took his words back and after that, his interviews ect have been fine!

I feel people are over analyzing his statements IMO..like whatever statement he made on Bebo was little overboard but apart from that what other derogatory stuff has he said?? He has this ability to laugh at himself and that is what makes his sense of humor different but since he was not very well known until Lootera or as in popular as such...media and some haters found it easier to judge him harshly...I have followed him since BBB so I can vouch for the fact that he has always been like this...

even with the lovaria interview, he did not exactly said he regrets saying it all...he just brushed it up with side effects of heavy medication 😆

and if he continues the same way this guy is going places and I can only see him more and more popular...not only in this forum but even outside a lot of my friends found him very average looking in BBB and my brother was like WTH? this guy is a HERO of the film? but it changed completely after they saw him in the movie...and specially after Ram Leela I hear only praises! 😳

But what did he say so bad about bebo? All he said was his fanboying over her has gone, that's it. He didn't say anything negative about her as a person or as an actress.

I think that article was him screaming from the rooftops that the monkey is off his back😆 I think he was being a Bebo fanboy & she may have taken it the wrong way. I saw that interview where Bebo stated that she asked SLB to keep him away from her was in good humor & reason for her not doing RL is likely the kissing scenes! I think ppl on this forum blew it out of proportion particularly since it was a relative newcomer, outsider at that who said something abt Bebo! But I believe attitude is everything in life & I think he has the charm & courage to deal with the consequences😉

Saw ramleela last sat, it was ethernaly osm, sets, songs n clothes r so colourful n vibrant. I am joyously awestruck n gobsmacked after seeing the performance of each actor whether its rs, dp, rc, bbs, sp n many r superbly moulded in there characters+ pc's item no was brillant. I want to smack on those faces who said it is po*n, imbecile blah blah movie, such people dont understand the poetic beauty of slb movies. 4rm myside 5/5 stars.

So glad you loved it, and I agree with what you said, some people just want a laugh out loud comedy filled with action sequences in a movie, but what SLB gave us through ramleela is every emotion woven into a beautiful movie!

Also the best collaborative acting from a movie cast from the whole year!

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela has grossed 106 crore nett approx as it collected around 8.75 crore nett in week three. The third week collections of the film are on par with the third week collections of Krrish 3.

In Mumbai circuit the film has proved to be a blockbuster and will be the eighth highest grossing film ever with lifetime collections in the 48-49 crore nett range and only behind the seven films which have crossed the 50 crore nett mark in Mumbai.

The performance is totally different in the North with Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela not even in the top 30 grossers in Delhi/UP and a similar story in East Punjab.
