The actor's decision to extend his sick leave has knocked his film schedules for a six
The impact of Hrithik Roshan's head injury on the sets of Bang Bang and subsequent brain surgery was felt on the schedule of the film and his other big project, Shuddhi. Though the actor was planning to resume shooting this month, his headaches have resurfaced and forced him to extend his sick leave. Hrithik will now shoot for both films in the coming year.
A source told Mirror that the actor has discussed the same with his directors, Siddharth Anand and Karan Malhotra.
"This time, his health is at stake. In Shuddhi, he has a lot of intense scenes and Bang Bang is full of action sequences. Both the directors are fine with his decision. They want their hero to be completely fit before they resume shooting," said the source.
Bang Bang was scheduled to restart at the end of November while Shuddhi was to flag off, tentatively in the second week of December.
When quizzed about recent reports that the actor will have to go undergo a second procedure, the source said: "That is not true. He just wants to recover completely before throwing himself into the actionpacked roles."
Hrithik, confirmed the news saying, "I will be taking some time off to recover completely from the recurring headaches that have resurfaced in the last couple of weeks before I resume the shooting of Bang Bang and later Shuddhi, since both are physically demanding."
