Dhanush beats Shahrukh to Balki film with Big B

The buzz in K-town is that Dhanush who recently made his debut in Bollywood with 'Raanjhana' is all set for his next Bollywood flick! The most intersting part of the film is that, the 'Why this Kolaveri' star would be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in the film directed by noted film maker Balki, who is known for this films 'Cheeni kum' and 'Paa'. It is important to note that this is the same role in which Shahrukh Khan had initially allocated his dates.

After pairing up with Shruti Haasan in '3', Dhanush is set to romance Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan in this yet to be titled flick. Balki's regular cast Ilayaraja and PC Sriram likely to take the music & cinematography chair respectively as well. An official confirmation on the cast of the film is awaited.

Looks like Dhanush is set to rock Bollywood one more time after giving a critically appreciated hit film 'Raanjhana'. Dhanush, who is planning to begin the shooting for this untitled Hindi filmbeginning early 2014 right after completing his current films 'Velai Illa Pattadhari' and 'Anegan' in Tamil.
