Just came back from the film..
A Good try by slb.. A bit too long and Ott.. But ishaqzade was a better Romeo Juliette remake.. In fact at climax I felt that slb had simply run out of idea and tried to play all the cliches.. The two communities giving up their enmity due to the sacrifice of the lovers... That's just bull crap... Shakespeare had more brains than slb I guess.. In Romeo Juliette the deaths of the two lovers made no difference at all.. The enmity continued.. As was also correctly shown in ishaqzade.. The reactions of the two families was that of relief to see the two lovers die.. Through Romeo Juliette Shakespeare wanted to show that love cannot conquer differences.. That's why it's called a tragedy

The tragedy of Romeo Juliette was not that the lovers didn't have a happy ending.. But that even their sacrifice failed to achieve anything.. I guess Shakespeare was realist
