Katrina rehearsed 6 weeks for Dhoom 3 title track!

The Dhoom 3 title song has served as the anthem for the franchise ever since the release of its first edition. While the actors have changed over time, it has been a constant feature in all the films. In Dhoom 3, divaKatrina Kaif will be seen grooving to the steps of the song.

An exuberant and high energy number, the dance for this track required the actress to undergo rigorous training for 6 weeks to perfect her steps and completely sync the dance. Though Katrina is a fantastic dancer, it took her a lot of time to get a grip of the steps given to her. Trained under renowned choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, it will apparently be hard to take your eyes off for her perfection in this dance number.

A studio booked at YRF for 6 weeks for them to practice the song. They had 4 - 6 hours of continuous training sessions every day. Even though the steps were tough, it was important for Katrina to be smooth at them. The actress underwent a hard core training session to improve her flexibility, strength and catching the correct demeanor for the song.

By the end Katrina was fluent with the steps, music and mood of the song. Katrina had apparently done nothing like this before. She excelled at putting up a marvelous show in the song which won her accolades from the entire crew of the film. Kudos!
