guys any idea when are the prints shipped internationally coz so far the showtimes are not up yet and I am getting really impatient 😳

Where I live, the showtimes are not up till the morning of the show...and we usually don't have a FDFS...as in the first show is generally the night show...only from Saturday onwards, the film starts having multiple shows in a day from morning to night. That too only for big films...most theatre here don't have morning and afternoon shows for hindi films during weekdays.

I am guessing, the prints are shipped to reach only a few hours before the FDFS...basically to help prevent piracy.

Am just waiting for the critics screening...normally done two days before the release, so we may have a review by Thursday morning or so!

PS: Am more anxious regarding the reviews rather than the BO Fate...somehow I just feel that these two are interlinked for RL...good reviews will translate into good business!

Totally agree, a film like ramleela needs excellent reviews to make people watch it in the cinema.
We should be getting the reviews very soon.

If you keep harping about your personal life, then the media will keep hounding you about it! Ranveer, though an absolute charmer off-screen, does wear his heart on his sleeve and is not at all careful with his actions and words...I am sure, he is regretting it now, because the media seems to be more interested in his personal equation with Deepika rather than his work in the film!

Its unfair...but then that is how it works. The media percieves and treats you according to the image you have created of yourself.

I hope Ranveer has learnt his lessons and just focuses on his work now...while I love shipping DP and Veer together...I think, he will benefit far more immensely if he is not talked about in conjuction to Deepika everytime.

Can't agree more her poppy! I think actors need to decide if they want to put their relationship up for scrutiny out there!! When it comes to a movie like RL, journos will question if there is more to the leads relationship as the scenes, chemistry is all very intense. It's fine if they want to hang out offscreen but questions will be raised. They can choose to ignore it or feed it so that they have some hype for their movie or give a damn & completely be in the open! There is no middle path here.

RS/DP maybe starting out, nowhere ready for a fulltime commitment which I understand as RS needs to establish his career & DP is right now having the best time. I think this can go either way based on fate of RL, future commitments. I don't find anything wrong if they want to play the field as they are young, ambitious & have so to so much in such a short timespan. They need to continue to keep it positive as we have been seeing on the promos & not get rattled by these kind of questions!

He didn't say he's only hanging out with her because of RL. In fact, he didn't answer the actual question, just gave a general response. He's getting better at that. Which is a shame, I quite like the unguarded, shoot from the hip Ranveer but circumstances have forced his hand I guess.

Quite frankly, all stars get quizzed about their personal life nonstop. The irony is, the people who talk about it freely are the ones who don't have their work overshadowed by their personal relationships. I've always wondered why stars are so cagey and evasive, mystery will ALWAYS produce gossip and hearsay. So by being all noncommittal, these stars are only making the need to know worse!

If they'd said, we're in a relationship, we're happy and we are not discussing it, the interest would die down fairly quickly. There'll still be gossip but not this incessant deluge of questions that they're having to face.

I hope Ranveer stops complaining about it though. It's a bit ungracious, especially at this stage of his career. He doesn't have the filmography to allow in depth discussion of his career. Of course he's entitled to his privacy but this is the life he's chosen, for better or for worse and media intrusion is part and parcel of the package. The time will come when his work will speak for itself, in fact if the reviews are favourable, he'll get talked about a lot for his performance and not just his equation with Deepika.

@ poppy : oh thats not the case where I live..showtimes are usually up by 3 days before the release and we do have FDFS as in the noon show on Friday and continues that way for one week at least and then depending on how big the film is or how is the occupancy, they decide on the no. of shows per day...I think CE was the last Indian movie to have maximum no. of shows per day for a very long time...right even K3 has only 2 shows...

well there are heck lot of desis in the city where I live...If I go for friday or sat night shows, people actually whistle and claps and stuff 😆 I love it actually !!

@Tuesdaychild : I think RS is learning it the hard way...as DP always have mentioned that he is very carefree and honest about his feelings which is good when you are in a relationship but sadly when it comes to celebrities you have to draw that line...

and even people who come out clean about their relationship are still constantly questioned about the next step as in marriage, kids blah blah...

and being secretive just adds to the curiosity and more buzz about the particular actor which apparently is okay with many actors too...its like a vicious cycle which is going to continue forever...actors have their own thinking and POV, media twists everything and gives another perspective to the whole story and fans choose to believe whatever the heck they want to...

Ranveer has realized that I think and will be more careful now which might not always be true to himself but he has to...

I'm nervously waiting for the first reviews. I would love for the film to be a blockbuster but honestly, I would be happy if it was a average grosser but got stellar reviews. I really want RS to be known as a great actor, even more than a box office star, because those are the kind of actors who have longevity. It would be great if he could be both of course!

^^ @tuesdaychild : unfortunately learning the hard way it is for Ranveer...this guy has really really grown onto me...I have followed him since BBB and there is something really charming and honest about his interviews which I loved..IDK how it will continue henceforth looking at his irritation about personal life questions...now I wish that lovaria interview never happened, I am still hoping to see DeepVeer on KWK 😃

and as far as RL is concerned, yes I am very selfish when it comes to this movie...I want critical acclaim for the actors as well as good BO collections coz RS really needs it...he is a fab actor and a decent BO collection will add on the fact that not only he is good but he is bankable...😳

I really think SLB took the best decision ever to cast RS as Ram and we all know DP came later on board and how well it has turned out...am I sounding like a total fangirl here 😆

Arjun Kapoor has a special nickname for Ranveer Singh and it happens to be Johnny Depp! Ranveer's fetish for hats seems to be the reason. The Ram-Leela actor said, "Arjun keeps teasing me, 'Baba, you are the Johnny Depp of India'.

He loves taking my case." About his obsession for fedoras, he added, "It happened accidentally. I have been collecting fedoras since I was a kid. I love hats. I love different sh*t.
