besharam flopped coz of story which was pathetic and also over the top masala ..and rocket singh ..common ranbir was never consider a superstar bak then ..his career sky rocketed after rockstar 😃...so ur point is irrelevant .😳

Besharam opening day was 20 core considering the negativity surrounding the lame promos. You compare that with Boss collection that had super buzz, great songs and great promo.

Ranbir proved his stardom, rest depended on the content that failed miserably. You can blame ranbir for chosing a bad script, not entirely his fault.

she was as much a furniture there as she is here! no credit for just standing in a frame!

being neutral chikni chameli was HUGE! that contributed way more than PC as a lead did!

lol this movie already had a hype ..coz old agneepath was classic ..and every1 wanted to knw how new agneepath wll fare in today's generation ..kat was considered later for the item song ..all were waiting from the acting point of view ..and specially to watch an hardcore action movie 😳

^ great points but the kapoor lad needs a good script or popular actress to make his movies work or sustain!! And that opening he got was due to yeh jaawani hai deewani success

but wom and reviews on besharam were terrible!! and going by logic deepika had race 2 a 90- 100 crore movie prior so shes the reason he got his biggest hit to date !!

STARpower also means making a avg script work, because audience care on characters and other things!!
