See the thing is this movie has been made by Rakesh Roshan with his own money. That is why he sold the movie to distributors immediately after announcement. Also he sold the music rights and satellite rights at the same time. If he sold those today he would have got huge amounts of money but he did that early because he didn't want to sell his movie to a big studio. They would have bankrolled him but still the freedom that he has as a director would have been lost somewhat.

I don't like product placements either but we have to understand that it is not the greed of Rakesh Roshan but need which makes him do that. It is said that of all the brand tie ups the film got Rs. 20cr and Red Chillies did the VFX for Rs. 26cr. So the brand tie ups actually helped him to make a better film. Sadly the critics fail to ignore that knowingly.

i think they over did the brand promotion thingy in the film!!! ya they needed the funds upfront bt thik hai chalta hai!!!

I am happy with Sanjay Gupta as he has supported Krrish 3 from the time it's trailer released. BUT I am confused. If I am not wrong then it was this Sanjay Gupta that was a Jury at an award function and refused the Best Film award for ZNMD even though all the other jury mrmber wanted it to win. He later publicly stated that he though ZNMD was the copy of foreign language film. Zoya Akhtar was very angry at his behavior then.

Krrish 3 First Day Collection Early Trends. Huge Opening Day on Cards.

Krrish 3 has opened to fabulous numbers today that is Friday at the box office. Film opened to 70%+ occupancy all India in Morning shows. Many shows were reported Housefull across India. This is big considering today is a normal working day and pre-diwali time period. Krrish 3 showed growth after the Morning shows and registered occupancy of 80%+ in Noon time. Single Screen also opened to excellent occupancy ranging from 70-80% to 100% at places. Reports are excellent from all corners of India.

Good news is that Krrish 3 is sustaining well in Afternoon shows and Evening shows are also pretty decent. Krrish 3 has registered occupancy of 60%+ from afternoon shows. Reason is Pre-Diwali season and a large section of audiences are in home right now. However film should pick up again in Night shows with occupancy of 80%+ should be registered for those shows.

Occupancy for Afternoon and Evening shows in Delhi is around 60%-65%. Occupancy for the same in Gurgaon is around 70%. In Mumbai occupancy of around 60% is registered for the latest shows. This shows film is holding well despite pre-Diwali release period.

Krrish 3 is released in around 4000 screens approx in India. Hindi Version alone is around 3750-3800. Though it is too early to state any numbers, but going by the early trend Krrish 3 should collect in the range of 25+ crore nett for Opening Day. Figure can also reach 27-28 crore nett mark or even more by the end of the day if there is a good pick up in occupancy for night and late night shows. Although predicting numbers right now is a huge risk as many shows are still to start for the day. Opening Day Record of Chennai Express looks safe right now, unless some magic happens in the Evening and Night shows all over India. Anyways this is good news for all associated with Krrish 3 as big numbers are expected for today and collections are bound to increase with weekend approaching.

Wait for more update on Krrish 3 Box Office.

taran gave low rating to CDI as he thought it won do well commericialy bt became 1 of years biggest blockbuster and gave srk all the awards and brought yashraj bk in the game after some stupid projects
