1- I haven't been a fan of either KMG (just Du's acting) or Krrish (again him as Krrish ONLY) so mind you I was a little scared as to what we could expect and whether it is going to have a lot of the kind of gags we saw in Krrish and esp scared about Krishna/Priya because they were so annoying in the prev film.
2- Safe to say K3 is atleast to me is a far far far superior film than Krrish was- whether it is in terms of action, story, direction and esp when it comes to the characters...the maturity with which it has been handled is amazing. Priya is a relief but watching Krishna was a delight (add to it he looked ), there has obviously been a lot of thought process gone into re writing his character.
3- Story- it's what superhero films are all about! So not going to get into it. But what I did love the most was the emotions it evoked, esp the scenes between Rohit and Krishna (and yes, I cried because Rohit was just SO cute) or Krishna and Priya (adorable!)
4- I loved how at the start of the film they gave a recap of KMG and Krrish, scenes from the film and I think that really set the ball rolling! Brilliant it was.
5- PC did really well in her role...she cute and provided the right amount of support Hrithik required. Like she said she is the damsel in distress, and she plays her part nicely!
6- Kangana as Kaya was outstanding. She looked AMAZING and kicked some serious a** in the action scenes, her transformation, her expressions, her look. BANG ON! Thank god she got back on board. Can't see anyone else do what she did.
7- Vivek: I know a LOT of people were hesitant about him being cast in the film and many scoffed at the choice be it fans or people from the industry, a lot has been written and read and I frankly NEVER understood WHY everyone was so much against him because as an actor to me he has always been one of the best we have had and has proved it whenever he was given the opportunity to do so (Company ,Saathiya, Shootout, Road, Yuva to name a few). Vivek as Kaal is OUTSTANDING- his eyes, his voice- the modulation, anger, frustration, the sarcasm in his tone...such brilliance. And he matches Hrithik step for step in the final battle! Way to go VO!
8- Now, I don't really need to speak about Du. Do I? The man is simply brilliance, I did shook my head in disbelief as to how he managed to bring about the difference in each of the characters...
As Krrish you want to ..it's that body language...he doesn't speak, he does not need to because his eyes do it for him- the strength, the pain, the fear. And the action, if I wasn't down with a bad throat I swear I would have cheered (Oh we had a kid in the cinema who clapped for him haha )
As Krishna- he plays the loveable son and husband with ease. As I said before, pleasantly surprised and HAPPY about the growth of his character. And if it helps, he looks so dishy! I can bet the girls (and boys) will be drooling over that face and body!
As Rohit he is just the most lovable character ever...and he was right, so difficult to show rohit as a child yet a father and how he has to be there for his son when he is in doubt...goosebumps at his scenes. Don't know how he pulled it off but never had a doubt that he would be exceptional.
9- Visually the film is a delight- there are bits where the scenes looked a little jaded but that would be just about 5-7%, the rest was brilliant!
10- The BGM- OH MAN. Seriously! Release it already! Pumped up the heart beat.
11- Songs - I honestly wouldn't mind if the film didn't have them, I don't really think they added much value to the film but they were watchable on screen.
12- There was a little too much of the hum sab mein Krrish hai (which explains all of Hrithik's interviews in regards to it )
And I have to say- hats off to RR! It is definitely his best work till date (maybe the word matured is more appropriate) but bow down to him. It's a huge risk and I hope it pays off for them. Pretty confident people will like the film, it's very to the point, not too manipulative in terms of emotions either and brilliant acting by the main leads!
The film does have a couple of loose ends but I'll wait for everyone to watch it.
