I think this is sad if true.

It's a loss for Balaji, coz this was a truly exciting pairing, but also a loss for both Emraan Kareena.

Johar and Balaji had managed to rope in a very promising new director, who had been ADs on some really impressive films in the past. They took forever zerioing in on the script.

This film had that combo of having hopes of an intriguing script, director, and high production values.

And I dont think Emraan or Kareena would wanna lose out on that. I'm thinking they're gonna rework their dates and come back to it as soon as it's ready.

And there's no way Balaji would replace Emraan-Kareena with Sid and Aalia...the ages are WAY OFF.

Characters seem mature. THey always wanted bigger stars, not newcomers. The project would sink with kids in the place of adults.

i honestly thought he had left the movie and balaji didnt want

to kick up a furore and speculation about how some star left

their movie for another one, its kind of reflects not well on

the picture and everything associated with it, especially when

its a question of 'creative differences'. those are always messy.

I had a feeling this was gonna happen.

This sucks a lot but honestly if Emmy isn't feeling right about or has doubts. I rather he leave then half-ass it just b/c he signed on.

And nope, he doesn't get irked about Imran preferences or things like that. He's quite a secure being and gets a lot of offers. But he does things that sustain him BO-wise, intrigue him as an actor and also things/roles he can experiment with.

Him and Abhay need to do more roles together. Shanghai is like my favorite movie ever b/c bot of them are in it. I really wanna see a Catch Me If You Can-type movie with both of them. A part of me wishes, Mohit Suri-Emmy always work together. I love their colloboration.

^qgreed Hetal. They had such great chemistry off screen and seemed to have hot along really well. In shanghai they neve had many scenes together which was a shame. I want them to work with Dibakar again but on something like Oye lucky lucky Oye with 2 heros...that movie was a gem I tell ya 😃
