Ranveer Singh's associates have cautioned him against gushing about Deepika Padukone.
Romance rumours have long been a popular promotional tool in the film industry but these staged relationships come with their own real ups and downs.
Ram Leela stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's 'friendship' too seems to have hit a roadblock with the actor's team ordering him to stop gushing about his co-star.
Sources close to the actor told Mirror that he has been pulled up for his candid confessions about Deepika.
The source said, "He does not know where to draw a line. The two have lot of steamy scenes together and Bhansali wanted them to develop a good rapport with each other. He is following the instructions from the team of Ram Leela but what happens after the release when he will be asked to explain his relationship status?" On the other hand, buzz is that Deepika, who has kept mum throughout the entire episode, is already preparing an exit strategy.
When quizzed about this, a friend of Deepika told this newspaper, "Why should she come up with a damage control plan? Ranveer has to watch his words. Has Deepika ever spoken about Ranveer Singh in the media? In the past, she has spoken about her work, and in the future she will continue to do so."
While their camps seem to be collecting ammunition for a postrelease confrontation, Ranveer is in Goa shooting for Finding Fanny Fernandes with Deepika.
