The real legit one is obvious. It's legal marriage with documentation.

Didn't that blind say... they did it for MAK asked them to? I could be wrong as I read that long ago. Besides, Saif's wedding band in Cocktail just proves that they were married those days.

MAK is hardly the type who was that religious. Only reason Sharmila converted during those days was coz there wasnt a Special Marriages Act when they got married.

I think the thing was, as Kareena once stated, that in her mind she took Saif to be her husband a long time ago. Neither are religious, so no religious cermony seems to have occured. Even for the obvious marriage we know of, they did some kinda fusion of all ceremonies. There were garlands involved, there were rings involved as well, as well as reciting vows.

I can imagine them giving each other these bands and rings and thinking of each other as man and wife without any labels or ceremony. Bebo did say that even before marriage, for the past few years, they had been registering in hotels as Mr and Mrs Khan.

And we know for sure that the legality was just recently done. Officially they became mr and mrs last year, with the paper work change and everything. It couldnt have been on paper before that.

If I take this as an affirmation, anyone can book a hotel suite claiming a hooker or a one-night-stand as his wife.

Any person who checks into a hotel, including children, have to show proof of identity (mostly passport in this case) before they can take a room. Even if they are a couple, every single person is registered individually into the hotel's system.

At least after reading many threads on this forum (includes the links of other forums too) one point to be noted is Kareena has been loyal in all her relationships. Where BI s get written at the drop of a hat, (if two actors are found to hreathe same air of 100 cubic feet volume ) Kareena has remained unscathed ...

This has become a mandatory rule post 26/11 incident in India.
