ya reporter specifically ASKED him about darr and SRKs

negative role. and he explained he signed film because there was

different narration of both roles and so he signed but srks role turned

out anti hero and stringer than his.

Has anyone even seen Darr recently? I saw it again just a while ago and Sunny Deol is on screen like 95% of the time. He has the majority of songs, gets the girl, beats up villains including SRK. There are even random scenes of him in the beginning being all macho and just beating people up on a ship.

SRK only had one song, didn't get the heroine, got beat up by Sunny and he's not even on screen that much. You can count a 2nd song if you count Jaadu Teri Nazar but in reality he was not even shown in that song! It was just Juhi Chawla being cute the whole time while the song plays in the background.

SRK's role was interesting but it was his acting that really stole the show. He was new and energetic and different and had huge screen presence. Sunny had every single thing a hero is given but still paled in comparison. He can blame it on anything he wants but it was his own failure in this movie that he couldn't shine.

i think people were bored of the hero thing and felt sorry for

srk...srk was kind of mentally 'off' rather than 'bad' in that

movie...people hate villains but not ill people, i think

it kind of tipped the balance add to that srks freshness and

rivetting performance

^ Yeah SRK made the most impact in Darr. Haven't watched it recently but as a kid and was totally in awe of SRK. Don't even remember Sunny's acting or how big his role was.No wonder he still sounds pissed.😆

He's not even talking about Darr or SRK. The reporter asked him why he doesn't play any negative roles. He says people don't offer him negative roles. The reporter counters by saying he was offered either role in Darr and he replies that the negative role wasn't supposed to be negative. Where is sour grapes coming from? He's not pissed or even trying to talk about it. Its a simple question and answer. People need to try to read an interview before reaching conclusions.

He is right..SRK's role was not really villaneous or hateful like mogambo in mr. india or gabbar in sholay..he had a story and audience felt sympathetic towards him..heck even i felt sorry for SRK although Sunny was the hero!! so obviously sunny must have got pissed off!! Srk also got the best songs in the film, tu mere samne and jadoo teri nazar, so it was really evident that sunny was kind of sidelined in the film.

Bees saal purani mirchi ise abhi tak lagi hai 😆..he will never accept that inspite of he being the hero of Darr..he was completely outshone by a relatively new actor then..

He is still harping about Darr? Does it even matter?😆 I think the script which was narrated to him had his character in predominance and SRK just had the regular negative character to play..But obviously things changed and SRK walked away with all the accolades..Why exactly is he still bitter? Just let go man😆
