Agreed. Dhanush, who already is a superstar in Tamil cinema, should be vying for Best Actor if anything. I guess the logic is that the term "newcomer' applies to entry into the Bollywood film industry, as opposed to the actual experience on an actor's resume. Like someone said upthread, it's Bolly-weird.
