What is lacking for shahid ?

This guy is so much talented n only one from generation who can compete with RK when it comes to talent. But a decade have passed still he have not build a strong fanbase. I re,e,ber during kaminey tymes sk popularity rose to heights but dont know what happened ? Well mausam played a big part in his downfall. N today even 1 movie old sushant got better opening than shahid 😭 n no way ssr is more talented than him 😲 wll the hostel where i live i asked my frnds to come with me to watch PPNH n their reply was it is sk movie not intersted. He tries hard but people have lost interst in him. He need to rebuilt it. What is ur opinion abt sk ? 😊

Simple he doesn't have a good script sense like Ranbir and Sushant (since you brought them up) do. Shahid is a great actor heck I'll take Shahid over Ranbir anyday but the dude needs to have a brain for script sense and pick good movies. Maybe he needs to do another subtle movie like JWM to gain back the fans he lost after the disaster that was Mausam.

I personally have been a Shahid fan since IV and till this day he remains one of my actors that I want to see succeed.

He did leave SDR for PPNH

Or maybe he is just interested in maaring kutte ki maut his own career

yups he need some rom coms. Even vivah was blockbuster n every1 though sk will be new genration superstar but he ruined his career with bad scripts n maybe romcoms will bring back a solid fan base. But ppnk was a masala movie n such mocies succeed at box office. He also lacks luck

PPNH was a been there done that kind of film plus it wasnt as funny as it should have been

and SDR on the other hand was a fresh concept which worked well

If he thinks, formula movies will only work, like PPHN then problem arises
I saw it this Sunday it was so predictable, I liked it in some parts...but nothing to take back...

He must try something different, audience is open to all kind of cinemas, if it is good it will work.
