Hehe... this scene still had me in splits. 😆 I havent seen Dpad going OTT but not sure if she could modulate voice and sync them with those comical expressions this well. 😆

Regarding Priety with Ranbir, come to think of it, baring Konkana, I dont think he has got a chance to work with a powerful performer. I'd like to see him collaborating with Parineeti and Sonakshi for once.

I agree! Deepika has improved in comparison to her earlier films but had she done a role like Preity had in KHNH, I dount she could pull it off considering that Naina Kapur was a restrained sort of character and one that would not have fared well if done in an OTT way.

I loved Saif and Preity's chemistry as well! I think in all the movies they did together, their chemistry was just perfect unlike Saif's pairing with Rani (which I adore as well). He and Rani were great in Hum Tum but in their movies afterwards, it all just went down, probably because of the kind of films they chose and the characters they portrayed.

I love this scene. 😆..I always felt Preity and Saif had better scenes than Preity and SRK. They were far more entertaining and engaging.

yeah, I feel Deepika wouldn't be able to modulate her voice well here. Speaking of Ranbir, I can see him pulling off a Rohit too. lol..but Saif was brilliant in this film.

Awww KHNH! One of my all time favorite films.

I havent seen YJHD, but Preity was so super adorable in KHNH.

I mean those kinda roles were her forte.

And how adorbs were she and Saif?
Saifu as Rohit in KHNH!

yess, if she had tried playing Naina from KHNH - I can't see her pulling this one off. As you mentioned, Naina Kapur was a restrained character..a lot of subtlety involved. Oh and Preity's expressions were always on point even when she didn't have much to say in a particular scene. For instance, here 😆:

Oh yeah, Saif and Preity had awesome chemistry in all of their films..Rani and him were good, but particularly in Hum Tum.

Something about Deepika's character is that we have all seen that before. YJHD felt like I was watching LAK or BKB or another rom-com all over again. It felt so same and the characters felt the same. Nothing new.

Preity was amazing as Naina in Kal Ho Na Ho. The character had more depth than Dpad's Naina and Preity was fantastic. So it's definitely Preity for me 👍🏼

Sorry, but what an insult to Priety! Who will remember DP role and YJHD movie? Even now it's forgettable after Ranjhanaa came out, the same ppl who watched same YJHD said how it was such a crap compare to Ranjhanaa..!

Preity role was her best role of her career and still remembered! The movie is a classic romantic movie a person can watch it every time. My friends, who don't like srk, but still love this movie and watch it.

Preity's character had depth and She did completely justice to the character. It can't be compared to DP's one. Dp's role was an every day role actress have. First of all she is an average actress, who is hyped all of the sudden this year because she didn't have competition from A list actresses! All her roles so far are average and over hyped for nothing. Only liked her in OSO because for a newbie actress, i think she was really good doing two opposite roles in the same movie and getting noticed opposite an actor like SRK. Not after that! She is yet to give a best performance and be remembered. All her roles so far are simple and many average actress can do it equally or even better.

Preity hands down..Like there is no comparison even..Am no fan of Preity or Deepika but KHNH as a movie doesn't even deserve to be compared to YJHD cos the former is miles ahead😆 YJHD is just the flavor of the season..After ten years, i can bet KHNH will still be remembered but am not too sure about YJHD..It is a KJO version of an Ayaan Mukherjee script gone wrong😆 On topic, Preity by a mile also because she had the better written character..
