He picked the wrong movies. Then he got scared when he had several flops. Then he got Vivah, JWM, Kaminey after that he went back to some bad movie choices again. Now it appears as though he has gone from confident to scared to confident to scared again. I think at this point he is just picking movies because he wants to have a career not be a failure.

I honestly think him trying to be a "perfectionist" killed him. He should have been more impulsive and gone along with the flow at times he waited too long for the right look and the right film. That killed him.
