What will be special about 'Don'

Now that Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna has released, the next Shah Rukh Khan film that is awaited with great anticipation is Don .

'Don' has SRK going for a complete makeover from cynical Dev Saran in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna to the suave and stylish Don.

SRK is quoted by a website as saying about the film that is a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Don (1978) : "Don of 2006 is 'similar', though not 'same' as Don from the past. The subject remains the same but Farhan Akhtar has given the film a completely different treatment."

But SRK emphasized that the best part of 'Don' is its beginning and its end.

"The best part of the film is its beginning and its end. It is going to completely take you by surprise, believe me! The rest of the film has great moments too but it is the beginning and the end that makes it's special," SRK said.

'Don' is scheduled for a Diwali/Eid release on October 20, 2006.

since i really like action films....i hope this one does well and i hope SRK doesnt mess it up with his over-acting (no offense to any srk fans)...buh overall i am relly lukin forward to this movie

Cant bear to see Srk ruin the wonderful film.....which Amitji had pulled off with such ease and perfection.... 👏

SRK just cant do a DON...He hasnt that personality or that acting skills...for me he is someone who does a lot of OVer-action(NO OFFENCE MEANT AT ALL)...so how can he do this Action movie in which Big B has really..say..DONNED!!!? 🤢
