After two back-to-back hits, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for the release of 'Ram Leela' and producer Ronnie Screwvala hopes the actress once again scores big at the box office with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed extravaganza. This year Deepika wowed with 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' which was followed by the grand success of Screwvala-produced 'Chennai Express', which also starred Shah Rukh Khan.

"Deepika Padukone - everything one has seen on 'Ram Leela' till date looks fab(ulous) - here's to a hattrick for you this year DP... Party," Screwvala posted on his Twitter account.

^ I really hate it when they leave Ranveer out and point only to Deepika. Deepika looks beautiful. Yay. But Ranveer is no less. In fact he looks great.

Anyway, thank goodness this new interview does not have any lovaria nonsense. He doesn't claim he has found the right girl yet.

From an exquisite looking Deepika Padukone to melodious voices, from rocking garba moves to a dapper dhoti-clad Ranveer Singh, Ram Leela'a 'Nagada Sang Dhol' song has it all. Hence, it is does not come as a surprise that the song has got more than three million views in just a few days of its launch.

Ram Leela's Nagada Sang Dhol song has touched 3 million + views on Youtube. This is a huge feat for the entire team as it is a highly awaited film from SLB's kitty.

The song has become extremely popular among the youth and is heard playing during the ongoing Dandiya festivities. The song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir, and it beautifully captures the Navratri festive spirit.

While Deepika is looking drop dead gorgeous in a red lehenga, Ranveer looks quite the heart throb in a red turban. The song will remind you off Aishwarya-Salman's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, this peppy number is rocking with its dance moves, foot-tapping beats and the sizzling chemistry between Deepika and Ranveer.

'I DIDN'T BELIEVE IN MARRIAGE'

Mumbai, Oct. 14 -- Ever since Ranveer Singh made his debut with Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), his personal life has been in public focus. Initially, he was rumoured to be in a relationship with his first co-star, Anushka Sharma. Now, Deepika Padukone, who plays his love interest in Ram-Leela, is allegedly dating Ranveer.

In these excerpts, the carefree actor talks about these link-ups, his plans to marry, superstition, money and why fame is overrated.

You hurt your back (while shooting for Lootera) and now you're recovering from dengue.

Mujhe nazar lagti hai (I get affected by the evil eye). I'm not superstitious, but these occurrences have been uncanny. When the song 'Tatad tatad' (from Ram-Leela) released, I got dengue. When I took my shirt off for a scene in Gunday, I hurt my foot with a piece of glass. Then, I cut my face. I've lost a lot of time because of my back and dengue; I have to catch up now.

Why do you think your love life is always in the limelight?

The more you stay in the limelight, the more your personal life will be probed. I have a lot to learn about protecting my personal space. I'm unguarded. I'm honest and things get misconstrued. I don't know a thing about being a public figure. Fame came to me overnight. No one trained me. People asked all sorts of stuff and I had to learn to talk with tact and discretion as I went. What you say leaves you open to judgement and cynicism. And I don't like being in the limelight or being a public figure.

Aren't money and fame also the driving forces of this profession?

Money and fame are overrated. What I like about being an actor is that I get movie tickets easily and entry into clubs. They are perks I enjoy. I don't understand anything else.

You're 28 years old. Have you ever given marriage a thought?

Till 26, I thought marriage was a defunct institution. I had decided to never get married as I didn't believe in it. Then, I guess, I grew up and realised that there's more to life than these perceptions. Today, I seriously think about getting married someday and having a family. Thirty-five is my cut-off age (to get married). I'll start panicking if I don't find someone (by then).

Love that Deepika is getting all the accolades for her role in Ramleela. 👏 What we have seen up until ow she indeed looks gorgeous and the vision of SLB...😳

Ranveer is not getting tang much praise as yet because the songs are primarily of Deepika except Tadak Tadak. Which is a great hit and is a lovely song performed by him. I guess once there are dialogue promos and the other song promos then people would start to feel,for Ranveer...😉

Also, Ranveer is compartively a newcomer, while Deepika is the current numero uno...hence, I guess, the media's focus on her!

Hopefully this will change when the proper promotions of the films start!

There is still time for the film's release, one whole month...lots of time for promotions!

PS: SLB's films have always been about the female lead...even in HDDCS, which had both Salman and Ajay Devgun, the focus was always on Aishwarya's character! I think its just the way SLB makes films...the male lead might get equal footage or even more screen time, but the author backed role will generally belong to the lady!

I think that article only mentioned DP because she is currently riding a string of hits.

Don't worry. I think Ranveer will get PLENTY of attention for Ram-Leela. The range he shows in just the trailer and the songs is remarkable!
