Cant act onscreen and her offscreen persona screams fake.

I don't dislike her, I dislike the insulting, white-worship mentality that would make a star out of a woman who is so totally devoid of screen charisma, talent or any special features of any kind JUST because she's the closest to a girl of another race they can get without outright hiring a full blooded European woman.

Well i just read on this thread somewhere that kajol and deepika havent seen the light of success...*shocked*
for kajol...i wonder if her awards as well as movies like KKHH,KKKG, MNIK, bazigar etc. what she was doing in those movies..or someone plz enlighten me if they were flops :P about kajol i really dont have words...if some mahan persona can say that she hasnt seen the light of success...then *facepalm*

deepika... man argue day and night, but it doesnt change the fact that she is fantastic. Without having a "gora chitta" indians ka fav skin tone (although it doesnt matter what tone they do have, nd nver mind most of the indians love to whitewash themselves) she is successful. And the most amazing thing about her is the kinda roles she has done. a huge variety, from OSO to CE, she ahs been fantastic.

She is to me the most expressionless actress in history of indian cinema...she can't act.. she isn't good enough to be considered a top Bollywood actress...She is pretty of course, but as an actress, you do need to have acting talent to play your role...I hate the hype she generated, and worse she does not live up to it...
