Honestly its a myth that hollywood will laugh at her weird accent. Look at actors like Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz both are Oscar winners and have think spanish accent which is even harder to understand than an Indian accent but that did bt not deter any production house to sign them.

Marion Corttilard also has a thick french accent but no one laughs at her for it there instea people appreciate her talent and find her extremely beautiful.

Well I think your missing the point here.

People generally like the Spanish and French accent. Its not about understanding, its about how it sounds. Most people think Spanish accents are sexy and I know lost of women who go crazy for the French accent.

You cannot use the acceptance of these accents as an excuse for the Indian accent. The Indian accent is heavily disliked and laughed at. There is nothing sexy about it. There is nothing good about it.

I mean it is wrong for people to think that way, but that's the way it is! Even Lara Dutta during her interview on KWK, put on a thick indian accent for one part when she was telling a joke and they all laughed.
