Good Analysis. I personally like amir khan bz of type of cinema he does - balanced. And I enjoy Salmans movies too as much as I love watching SRK in movies like chak de n swades. All three of them have unique style of their own and thats why they are there where they are right now.

Aamir loves acting . Shahrukh to an extent loves acting . Salman just is in it for the fans and fame

I'm sure he likes it . He has to like it cause he made it his profession .

But I have seen interviews and videos where he says he doesn't wanna stay last the point of where people do not wanna see him . Aamir has said success and failure will come but he loves making mvoies . i dont think salman loves it . Like in 1999 he said if he has 3 consecutive flops he leave . At that he had hello brother and said jokingly " just two more and I'm gone "

He always mentions his life's ambition was making some amount if roupees and if he makes more its all a plus


Also recently sohail during making of their new film said salmans whole genre of acting is pleasing the fans .


I think if the audience still didn't like him he would've retired long back


It's not that he doesn't take up real challenging roles I truly think he has no Desire to do them .

Again my opinion . I hope it doesn't sound like im making excuses for him

He is my fav but I'd watch other actors films if they trailers Interest me

Twenty years down the line, it would be movies like Taarey Zameen Par', 3 Idiots' Lagaan', "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', "Rang De Basanti', Amir would be remembered for and many of his movies would qualify as timeless classics.Just as Sanjeev is remembered for his timeless classics like 'Aandhi', 'Mausam', 'Koshish', 'Parichay', 'Sholay', 'Trishul', 'Angoor' etc.👏

Loved this post....and agree with most of it except that Aamir is not as versatile as Sanjeev Kumar...I think Aamir is equally talented and if was given a chance he would have played those roles equally good if not better...Having said tht...those were different times...Acting was taken more seriously and given more importance than star power unlike today...and who should we blame...Today these movies run just for a few weeks...and then they come down...there is no scope for the WOM...this is one reason...starpower and not acting plays an important role in movies collecting BIG at BO..
