I agree with your other choices SRK has a more style based acting which makes him similar to Rajesh Khanna to go long with that to woo any female in the audience. Aamir's versatility and a thinking actor makes him a more similar to Sanjeev Kumar.

I personally a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan is waiting for another Mega Star to make way, who would bring in a change in how cinema is made and stories conceived keeping only him in mind. But for that we need another Salim-Javed as well.

Reg the Khans, on this forum, there are many many enemies of Salman who bash him non-stop, so poll result probably reflects this.

But leaving the controversy aside, my view on the three Khans:

1. Aamir : Perfectionist and class act

2. Salman : For the masses - entertainer

3. SRK : Hammer, tries to be both class and mass, which is the main problem (Sorry, my bias against SRK can't be controlled) 😛

But ultimately is all three are superstars - whatever may be their negatives, they are stars who can command respect from the public and can generate crores for producers.

Great post, loved your take on yesteryear stars and comparison. Rajesh Khanna was THE superstar to beat all superstars. Amitabh created his own category of superstardom. Aamir may not be a superstar in Rajesh Khanna mode, but SRK and Sallu without doubt can be listed in the same category as Kaka and Big B.

My fav is Aamir for the reason you specified. I loved most of the movies you mentioned and I expect that it will be a good movie.
I watch salman movies because they are simply entertaining. 😆
And i dont like SRK movies apart from Chak De India, Main hoon Na and Chamatkar. 😆
