Satyagraha Shows Growth on Saturday

Satyagraha showed growth on Saturday as collections were 15% higher than Friday. The collections were up at multiplexes all over with a good upward trend in Mumbai, Delhi, East Punjab and Bangalore.

The Saturday collections were in the region of 11.50 crore nett taking the two day business of the film close to 21.50 crore nett. The weekend should go towards 34-35 crore nett as Sunday should show a similar trend to Saturday.

The Saturday jump has given the film a chance at the box office. Although the two day collections are on the lower side the trend is good the film may be able to sustain over the weekdays and into the second week.

Satyagraha Opens Huge on Sunday at Box Office.

Satyaghara has taken a bumper opening on Sunday at box office. Film has come to full throttle and reporting many Housefull shows all over India. Film has taken around 60-70% opening and is sustaining on that level till last report filled in.

Satyagraha has opened to 65-70% in Delhi City till last report. In Gurgaon occupancy is as high as 80-85%. In Mumbai film is again slow, but still registering a decent occupancy of around 50-52% on average till last report. As today is Holiday because of Sunday film will show good occupancy in 2nd half of the day as well.

Satyagraha has won the first battle as it has embarked a good first weekend collection. As per early trend film is heading for 38-39+ crore nett in its opening weekend. Now real test for the film will start from Monday. If film sustains well on Monday and Tuesday then it has every chance of collecting big in its lifetime. Let's wait and watch.

Hopefully the audience and critics are disconnected on Kareena's character as well

I only liked her character in the trailer
