Katrina going the Jiah Khan way?

These past few weeks, there's been reports of Katrina Kaif flying over to Sri Lanka to meet Ranbir, going over to his house but being banned by his father (yet returning again), media lashing at her for the open letter she issued. In all of this, Ranbir stays mute.

It's clear that Katrina is heads over hills over Ranbir. Who else can return to a house after being kicked out? Jiah too loved her boyfriend and bought gifts, vacation, etc for him. Her boyfriend didn't seem to be as commited. Ranbir similarly isn't a commited guy (cassanova of this generation). His father proudly stated that Ranbir has A.B,C,D over and that they don't know about each other. Which self-respecting girl would put up with that?? Clearly someone who is blind in her love.

Sure in the career aspect, Katrina is doing well whereas Jiah wasn't. That is what is keeping Ranbir hooked. When the projects start to slim and Katrina will need a shoulder to lean on, it will be a slap to Katrina's face to see how fast Ranbir will flee. Like Jiah, Katrina is a lone girl in India. Both these girls do not have a father hence may have daddy issues. I'm sure she things Ranbir will get too emotionally attached to her to ditch her, but guys like that don't really change their colours. They're fun and easy to get along with but not there for the long haul.

Will she do something drastic like get pregnant to try to keep Ranbir? We know Jiah aborted her child. Would Ranbir (with his career soaring) not want to be tied down and not acknowledge himself as father with Katrina having to abort?

These are my speculations. Please do comment with your opinions.

EDIT: By "going Jiah's way", I don't mean career-wise as they have taken different paths. Also, this doesn't necessarily mean suicide but the general emotional down-spiral due to their respective love-lives.

Well rishi,ranbir and katrina are certainly more well known and bigger stars than aditya,sooraj,jiah ever were ! I doubt any of them would try to ruin their own reputation 😆

Well they say the bigger the star, the bigger the fall.

I don't know about Rishi or Ranbir but I see Katrina starting on a path of self-destruction due to her love for Ranbir. I don't know how but Ranbir has Katrina by the strings. Which other girl would take all the insult Katrina has received in the last few weeks alone? Most would dip straight out of there.

That may be her downfall. I don't see the Kapoor accepting her into their family. They will probably set Ranbir up with a rich business-man's daughter. Deep down Ranbir is well aware of that. Right now, he's just having his fun whereas Katrina is in it for real. While Katrina has been in India for 10 years, she still doesn't grasp the concept that many men have 2 categories for women 1)for dating/fling/fun 2) for marriage. Just like Sooraj started to ignore Jiah, I foresee Ranbir pulling the same stunt which will lead Katrina to go into desperation mode. I just don't see it ending well. If both parties knew that it was just for fun, there would be no harm but since one is clearly committed, there will be a disaster.

What if they actually does end up marrying? I dont think Katty wants to get married now. She is still going strong professionally. If after 2 years she wants to get married.. Ranbir might go with the flow and settle down with her. Rishi also was known as a casanova but he did marry Neetu.

Well...isn't this a little too much speculation??😆...Katrina has survived a lot...she will survive Ranbir😆

The downfall of katrina has began for sure ! She is already dethroned by deepika,aamir will take all the credit for dhoom 3 + it might not beat CE and i doubt bang bang can be as big hit as any of these ! Dunno if she can reclaim the top spot or not

Rishi did marry Neetu but he also physically abused her and cheated on her throughout the marriage. Rishi only married her because of her pregnancy. Nowadays, abortion is readily available.

I really doubt Katrina has power or held in high regards by the Kapoors. To them, she is just one of Ranbir's playthings as evident from Rishi comments on Ranbir's cassanova image. There's been reports of Rishi kicking Katrina out of his house. In all of this, Ranbir has done nothing. It's clear that he won't go against his parents. The flow is not to settle down with Katrina but to ditch her.
