A popular Hollywood rom-com director once pointed out that in romantic comedies it is the chemistry that matters more while casting than the actors! And the lead pair of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu have that to their credit, a breathtakingly warm chemistry and heartening camaraderie. Director Punit Malhotra strikes a right note in the trailer of his upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.

Humorously putting a stark difference of ideas between two young people who are in love, there is a neat distinguishing line between consumerist attitude as opposed to that of fostering welfare. While Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film slips into the role of a social activist, Imran Khan plays the lackadaisical consumerist who has little regard or value for social welfare. What comes across is the trailer is the dichotomy of their ideas and their love story still works despite the ideological clash between its duo.

The film's story has extreme predictability and follows a typical route. But the quality of this film will be the chemistry of its lead pair, who render soul to their plots and make their characters seem real. There is good extent of compatibility in their conversations with references of Tomatino Festival and how Imran retorts back at Kareena's moral reservations against the same.

The trailer shows how Imran mends his ways and goes to village to woo his lady love. Despite doing his usual wide eyes stint, Kareena's presence squeezes out the actor's best approach at acting. With a few humorous dialogues ranging from references of Salman Khan to the aroma of gobar seeming pleasing to our love stricken hero, the duo is yet again ready to give an unconventional love story it seems.

A lot of the film depends on how its plot is framed and whether it can manage to entrap the attention of its audiences. But in the trailer alone, it is more of an enriching chemistry that its lead pair shares, and somehow the memory of heartfelt Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is enough to draw my liking towards Gori Tere Pyaar Mein as well. If it's a rom-com, the pair is always the foremost crowd puller.
