You know I was reading Masand interview of some sort that came out recently and there he mentioned Kabhi Haan, Kabhi Naa, CDI, Swades among his fav. SRK movies.

I think Shah has been brilliant in most of his movies...as he said recently that he knows what the critics "want" to see and he can do that but it won't be reaching out/appealing to all the audience. He is still acting even in films like OSO, MHN, CE, KHNH, just that this is a lil 'easier' kind of acting compared to his other acclaimed works. But its still acting, cuz even for those roles, I can't picture anyone other than Shah...eg. Sallu can't do a CE or, Amir wouldn't pull off an OSO/MHN. But, the so called critics, fail to realize that and don't acknowledge the hard work and acting that still goes in these roles he has done. Cuz as far as I know SRK the person if far too different from those characters...so he ain't playing himself unlike *ahem* someone. 😆

As I said before, I do understand his predicament of wanting to do this kind of massy cinema. He is at a point in his career where youngsters and other big stars of his league are just waiting for one little downfall to put him down. So, I think that whole thing keeps him back and gives him hesitation from doing the 'other' kind of cinema like CDI/Swades.

Now SRK haters can say he bought off TA. Firstly, that is a big offence to a man whose life has been dedicated to films ever since I have known. Secondly, even if we assume it to be true, did SRK also bought off koimoi, indicine, ALL news channels and plethora of other sources? That is impossible. Its insinuating that India is so corrupt that just for a film, so many entities can be bought off. Bullshit. And offensive.

As for BOI, these guys themselves say that their numbers are approximate...and their best estimate. Hence, their numbers are not sacrosanct. We should not worry about a doubtful source just to please a hater.
