seriously every review is negative! nobody liked the movie? i thought atleast it would have a good story...but i suppose i shouldnt be expecting that from akshay's movies.

OUATIMD Box Office Opening and First Day Estimate

OUATIMD Akshay Kumar's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara has opened to packed houses all over the country, but unfortunately for the film and its makers, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.

Looking at the response that the film has got all over the country (morning shows were running at 90-100% occupancy in most cities), OUATIMD would have done business in excess of Rs 15 crore on its first day, if not for the limited screening. For a film that was initially slated for worldwide release during the Eid weekend and later postponed to 15th, OUATIMD couldn't even take advantage of the Independence Day holiday.

Released on approximately 1300 screens today, OUATIMD is likely to collect around 7-7.5 crore on its opening day, which is slightly higher than what Chennai Express collected from its paid previews.

The film will have a wider release tomorrow, but will continue to face tough competition from Chennai Express which will benefit from both higher number of shows at multiplexes and more single screens

Wow not a single good or even decent review 😲 not good for the word of mouth of the film. Now I'm having double thoughts seeing this movie over the weekend.

Ugh I knew that the movie wouldn't be as good as the prequel but didn't expect such a huge drop especially seeing how its the same team. As for the actors MAN all three of them getting slammed.

Oh well I'll just go watch Lootera 20 times and forget that Sonakshi ever did this travesty 🥱

I could see dis coming from d very 1st time i saw d trailer..😔..almost everything seemed so dull about dis movie including d star cast...still wanted it to do well for d sake of Akshay bt now it seems d movie wont even get a hit tag...😒

I agree DB...be it der looks...der acting...i mean d dialogue delivery...d songs...everything was plain boring...Ajay was just so good...and Emran too...i was hoping to see dis one bt think will have to pass it...😭
