Kareena refuses to kiss Emraan Hashmi?

Whenever Emraan Hashmi has kissed on screen, more often than not the film has gone on to become a hit.

The actor's Shanghai didn't see him locking lips. Call it coincidence or just bad luck, but the film didn't do well at the box office.

Ek Thi Daayan and Ghanchakkar too didn't find many takers. Nonetheless, Hashmi apparently is keen that his next film, reportedly titled Badtameez Dil, includes an intimate kissing scene.

Buzz is that he conveyed this desire to Ekta Kapoor, who is producing this film in association with Karan Johar. Unfortunately, for him, his request was denied because the heroine of the film —Kareena Kapoor — told the producers that she will not kiss on screen. The film is slated go on the floors this September, with the first schedule in New Delhi.

Well, Saif and Kareena don't want to kiss on-screen.. personal choice. But she has okayed an intimate scene which is fine -

Kareena agrees to an intimate scene with Emran

She kissed her then-beau Shahid Kapoor in Jab We Met and even shot for bold scenes in Heroine. This time Kareena Kapoor Khan seems to be going yet another step ahead to get cosy with Emraan Hashmi in her next film.

According to sources, Bebo has given her nod for an intimate scene with Emraan. In fact, the makers were in for a surprise when the actress gave a go-ahead.

A source from the unit says, "Producer Ekta Kapoor was very keen that Kareena does the film but was not sure if she would agree for the explosive love making scene. She convinced Kareena that the scene was quite significant to the storyline. Bebo being a professional gave her nod right away." Apparently initially Kareena had some date issues after which, the makers contacted Deepika Padukone for the role. The producers however soon went back to Bebo after which the logistics were worked out.

Kareena remained unavailable for comment.

Emraan Hashmi is such a sleaze bag. All his kiss scenes are done in such a vulgar manner, I'm glad Kareena refused!

Yeah, she and Saif kinda have a mutual agreement to not kiss other costars onscreen coz they dont feel comfortable.

They're fine with intimate scenes though.

Emraan requested a kissing scene? Erm, so does he really believe that a kiss will make a film a hit or is it just the journos writing this thinking that?

It's Kareena's personal choice what she wants to do and she should be able to uphold that. As for kissing scenes in Indian cinema in general, the ones I've had the displeasure of seeing were all ick-worthy.
