Her 'open letter' has certainly rubbed quite a few people the wrong way, and rightfully so. If she really wanted to show how 'hurt' or 'angry' she was with all this, then she should've gone ahead and slapped a lawsuit on Stardust and other media channels. THEN, they would've seen how serious she was in regards to her privacy. We're talking about the #1 Bollywood actress here according to many - and she can't even do that? Or Ranbir/his parents could've done it, I mean, they've had articles about his drug busts taken down before.

Imagine if people in Hollywood started complaining about stuff like this...they'd definitely be laughed at and/or would not be taken seriously. Katrina thinks her situation is bad? In Hollywood, celebs get snapped when they're doing the most random thing...such as going to Starbucks or a convenience store, hanging out with their family at the park, etc etc...including the beach (vacation or not). Do we see them making a fuss over stuff like this? The celebs that do create a fuss, the media just targets them more...kind of like what we're going to see with Katrina/Ranbir.

Yes, I know that. But what did she really say in the open letter? I really do not get why few of the media people are being offended. It's not like Kat used any bad language. She just shared her distress. Mentioned how she shares wonderful relationship with the media ... and if they could try not to be too invasive. I doubt it was wrong for her to ask that. Even if Kat's wrong ... And media do own every celebrity... still when I read her open letter ... and in reply to that ... when I read this ... I don't agree with this guy's reaction.

She shot herself in the foot by writing that open letter to the media. Now all media outlets are making fun of that letter. She is now an easy prey for them. She should have remained silent .

I guess I'm the only one who thinks Kat did nothing wrong by writing that open letter. I guess, it's easy to target female actresses - Esp the ones you are not fond of.

Like I have said from the day the photos were "leaked" that if it was done against the wishes of Katrina , she should sue the publication. How can they put it on the cover? So if the "leak" was doctored by the couple and she comes back to reprimand them, then this is an apt answer to that.

Any publicity. Good publicity. Media is talking about her day in and day out... More endorsement deals in Katty's kitty.

So you are saying suing is a better option to open letter? Meaning in order to prove her innocence she has to sue em? Huh.

Funny how things work now. #ShakesHead

Invasive behavior? Invasive? Alright then..where was this 'open letter' when she was snapped praying at a dargah, not once, but quite a few times? Wasn't that part of her personal life too? Nobody heard her complaining then, even though those pictures were published on many websites. Better yet - how come this letter didn't come out when the pictures of her and Ranbir at the concert in Ibiza came out? Why is it just the beach pictures she has an issue with? Privacy was being violated then (dargah and concert, etc) and privacy was violated now (beach)...so why make so much noise now?

I can't tell what exactly her issue is here...that her image is compromised because people have seen her in a bikini? Or the fact that people saw her with Ranbir for the hundredth time, straight up privacy issues, or what. But what I do know is that if celebrities think they can use and throw media according to their whims and fancies...well then, it's just going to backfire - just like how we're seeing here. Both Katrina and Ranbir should've handled questions about their personal life in a better way since the beginning and then maybe, just maybe, this could have been avoided.

The media is pissed at Kat because the pictures that were leaked were not clicked by any media / paparazzi it most likely by her close associate! That's the reason he brought Kareena - Saif example! Many of our b-town actors go on vacation abroad and we have not seen any of their private pictures!

Secondly, had those pictures been clicked on a public beach not a private area like ur house / farm house etc where it would be invading privacy and entering someone's private property!

Moreover, Kat is no newbie! She is in this industry for 10 years. By now she should be well aware of her celebrity status!

Lol you are not getting the point which is that it was her/ her source who leaked the pictures and even this journo has made it clear.
