An open letter to the media from Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif felt betrayed that a segment of the press chose to encroach on her personal space and print photographs of Ranbir Kapoor and her, on vacation on a beach in Ibiza, Spain.

I am writing this to say that I feel most upset, distressed and invaded at my pictures published in a film magazine (and which were carried by other media). The pictures were taken while I was on holiday by someone who, in an act of cowardice, has shot without permission and then used the pictures for commercial gain.

There is a breed of journalism that preys on celebrities in the worst possible manner crossing all lines of privacy and decency. Running these pictures shows support for this school of journalism.

I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have been accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behaviour.

There is no privacy for these celebs... Poor them
I feel bad for her... She is always private person
Anyway her haters like to believe she did it but for once use your brain keeping your hate aside... U will get the answer..

the pictures were not leaked by her pr!

This is Katrina's first letter to the media, she has tolerated all their crap till now. But first they harass her personal life with leaking her private pictures then making articles about how she is okay with the pictures being leaked etc. that was just beyond the limit.

I am glad Katrina did stood up for herself and made it clear that such harassment is not alright and not acceptable.

This kind of journalism should not be supported, if it gets supported then such journalism will continue in future.

Yeah, "the media" should cover actors lies. Let's keep pretending these people are superhuman fairies without sexual organs.

Look kids, if your movies basically stink and the only thing about you that draws the audiences to your films is your sexual attractiveness THAT'S going to be the number one topic of interest.

You're hardly Helen Mirren, or Vidya Balan where people are interested in you for your talent and nuanced characterizations.

They wanna know who you're humping, see you humping and many of the horny buggers want to hump YOU.

Puffy, breathless teen-mag style star coverage may still be popular in India and considered "decent" but most folks know these people aren't plaster saints. The public is a bit too sophisticated and exposed to the world to waste their time on that kind of worthless garbage. Hell, even 14 year olds know what's up among the so-called "beautiful people" nowadays.
