There are plenty of people around whose careers haven't exactly taken off, the ones that come to mind right away are...Diana Penty (Cocktail)...Jacky Fernandez (Murder-2, Race-2 etc), and even Asin who has the most blockbuster hits.
Even though they worked in hit movies, they still haven't really "clicked" with the audience. Whereas people like Shraddha/Alia...had 1 successful movie and suddenly became stars.
Of course there are other people who are kind of "stuck" too like Pratiek Babbar, Shruti Hassan, who don't seem to be getting anywhere.
We also have those who have been around for a while, acted in several movies...but still have gone nowhere...like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Soha Ali Khan, Amrita Rao, Kunal Khemu, etc
We also have someone like Sonam, who was written off, and almost finished... but then bounced back.
Do you think any of these mentioned people or other stuck stars have a chance? Or is it too late for some of them? And ofcourse I cant mention every single name, so feel free to talk about any other actors you think are stuck. Can everyone pull a Sonam and bounce back? Or is it too late for some?
From all of the people I mentioned, I think Jacky "MAY" have a chance, only because she is working with Salman in Kick and that movie with Ranbir. I like her look, dancing skills and all but I am doubtful about her acting, I am not sure if she can act or not. (although when is that a requirement? ex: Katrina) ..although she did steal attention from Deepika in Race-2...
