Sonakshi Sinha to shun her 'desi' image with raunchy item song

New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha seems to be trying hard to please her critics, as there are rumours doing the rounds that the actress is ready to surprise her fans by shedding her 'Indian woman' avatar and going all bawdy for an item song.

According to a tabloid, Sinha will be sporting a sinuous and graceful outfit for the song. It is also said that the actress was persuaded by Akshay Kumar to let go of her 'desi' image in order to shake a leg in an item song for his next.

"Sonakshi will be at her seductive best," a source said.

"In spite of her having had reservation about her appearances in the past, she signed up for it. She felt it would be a good get-away from her regular desi image," the source added.

Tanya Gharvi- who is a popular stylist for many A-lister actresses - has been roped in to design Sonakshi's shimmery grey short dress for the track, which also features Prabhudeva.

Basically she is bein a sheep and following the flock...changing her rulr...m not sure how her thighs will look though wid short dress..she will hv to losee alooot of weight..and use photoshop...and has to stop eating butter parathas.. 😆
