Kareena Kapoor, who will be playing the role of a journalist in soon-to-release Satyagraha, will essay the role of social activist in Gori Tere Pyar Mein.

Kareena Kapoor dons a simple look in the film, which is currently being shot in Mumbai.

Kareena Kapoor has played a wide range of characters including a sex worker in Chameli, a medical student in 3 Idiots, a housewife in RA.One and an actress who is struggling to hold on to her waning career in Heroine.

This will be the first time she will be playing a social activist.

Imran Khan plays the lead, with Shraddha Kapoor playing his parallel love interest.

The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and directed by Punit Malhotra of I Luv Hate Storys fame.

Dont expect much from the film but hope it works for her bcuz she will desperately need a hit after the upcoming disaster satyagraha

She is way better than most of the new actresses
