Priyanka Overwhelmed By The Response To 'Exotic'

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who last year made her international music debut with chartbuster 'In My City', recently released her second international single 'Exotic' which also features Pitbull.

And just like her first song, 'Exotic' too has been received well by the audience. In fact, the response is even better this time.

So, what Priyanka thinks about the huge success of her second song? She replies that even though she was optimistic about its success, she never imagined that the response would be so great.

She says, "I always knew 'Exotic' is a really good track and the timing is correct as it is a summer anthem but this kind of overwhelming response is totally unexpected."

Interestingly, Priyanka confesses that she thought 'Exotic' would take a certain time to get in the people's mind but, to her surprise; it has become an instant hit.

"With movies one expects that the first weekend will decide its fate but with songs, the popularity grows slowly. But this instant response is simply crazy," she tells.

Now, Priyanka has started working on her upcoming film 'Mary Kom'. The biopic is being directed by debutant Omang Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
