Well Both of them shouldn't be a casting choice.

Instead it was a golden opportunity to cast a North eastern female actor in a mainstream film.

Ya ya of course.,. Ranis role in Talaash was equal with Kareena. Even their scenes came always back to back. And I thank to god she had the role of Roshni. One of my all time fav roles of her. But as rani hater, this should be hard for you to digest. And for the recod she was the big 'hero' of NOKJ. Vidya wasn't the star than as she is now. But I won't discuss that with you here. Any objective user will clearly see her body of work.

I only hope she continues doing good roles like Michelle (Black)Meera (NOKJ), Roshni (Talaash), Saamiya (VZ) & Gayatri (Bombay Talkies). These were here best.

its funny how people love pulling down rani and try to snatch her glory..nokj was all about vidya?oh ya?check the public reviews on youtube..filmfare award ..infact she was the one who dragged the audiences to the theatre because vidya then wasnt the dirty balan..and in talaash she had equal footage as kareena..yes her role was subdued and deglam ..and kareena's more author backed..and in bombay talkies she was mesmerizing..so what the film tanked..a film like lootera tanks and crap aashiqui 2 and bodyguard garner 100 crores...r u talking about this BO?lol ..
