Ranbir to romance Parineeti in KJo's next directorial venture?

Strong trade gup indicates that Parineeti Chopra will play the lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar's next directorial venture. The film is slated to go on floors after Ranbir wraps up Bombay Velvet.
The excitement over the casting stems from the fact that both Ranbir and Parineeti are talented actors. Also, this may be the first time that they actually team up.
The film will see Karan directing Ranbir for the first time. He has produced two of Ranbir's movies — Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Karan said, "I'm still scripting the film and have not offered the film formally to any lead actress."
In the meantime, there is also news of KJo introducing a new girl shortly. But which of his upcoming films the newbie will fit into, is a guarded secret.
